Canberra GFC Yellowfin Tournament
Bermagui 14, 15 & 16 May

Ulladulla was represented by 7 boats and 24 anglers in total – Mayhem, Freedom, INXS, Justafordam, Miss Elise, Reel Obsession and Highlander.

Saturday was blown out with a gale warning from Port Stephens to Gabo Island. Much storytelling, drinking, golf, gear checks etc but no fishing.

Sunday turned out to be a great day with over forty fish tagged and a few captured. The heaviest Yellowfin was 26.6kg. There was also a spearfish that is a potential record fish and a Tiger Shark that went 498kg, well over the old 1000lb mark.

Monday dawned to a beautiful morning, virtually no wind and a very lazy 3mt swell. Unfortunately the fish didn’t cooperate and not many were being called in.
